Babysitting Course

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills is partnering with Safety Tree (see below for promo code) who deliver the Red Cross Babysitting Course. This is a one-day course and will be offered in October 2024 and April 2025 for children 11-16 years old. 

Topics include:

• How to find clients and make money babysitting
• Caring for children of all ages
• Creating safe environments and preventing accidents
• Fire safety and prevention
• What to do in an emergency
• Good decision-making and leadership skills
• Basic First Aid Skills

What to bring:

• Nut free lunch and snacks
• Personal size bottle of hand sanitizer
• Pencil and eraser
• Indoor footwear
• Doll

When: Saturday, October 19, 2024

Time: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: Almonte & District High School, 126 Martin St. N, Almonte

Cost: $67

Requirements: participants must be between the ages of 11-16.
