Almonte Black History Dance Party - February 18, 2024

Almonte’s Black History Dance Party is back!

The 5th Annual Almonte Black History Dance Party takes place Sunday, February 18 at the Almonte Curling Club (182 Bridge Street). Activities begin at 8 p.m.

We will have 3 DJs on deck playing Hip-hop, R&B, Country, Reggae, Afrobeat and more. It is cash bar only.

The Black History parties are always fun filled and also raise money for a good cause. This year, they are fundraising for Equal Chance (https://www.equalchance.ca/), an incredible non-profit in Ottawa. Equal Chance works on a variety of issues which include but are not limited to food security, employment, mental health, homelessness, human rights, justice, health, childcare, financial literacy and International affairs.

We hope that you will be able to join us in celebrating Black culture and supporting this worthy cause.

Tickets are $20 per person and are available here: https://bhmdance.ticketsplease.ca/product/black-history-month-dance-party/

See you on the dance floor! Happy Black History Month!
