Co-operators partner with Fire Department to Sponsor Fire Prevention Week-in-a-Box Program
During the recent Fire Prevention Week (October 8-14, 2023), the Mississippi Mills Fire Department was pleased to receive the donation of a Fire Prevention Week-in-a-Box kit from Wes Zacharuk, Financial Advisor/Owner of Co-operators in Carleton Place.
To mark the 101st Anniversary of Fire Prevention Week, Co-operators collaborated with the Canadian Public Safety Operations Organization, the National Fire Protection Association and local fire departments to promote fire safety in homes. The Fire Prevention Week-in-a-Box helps fire departments raise awareness of fire-related risks and provides targeted education materials to the local community.
Fire prevention helps reduce injuries, deaths and property loss and is everyone’s responsibility.
