The fall season has begun! The following programs are starting up (mainly in October) at your Mississippi Mills Public Library.

Creative Writing Club
For Grades 6 to 12, this club meets the first Wednesday of each month. It starts for the season on October 4 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Almonte Branch.
Spanish Conversation Group
Spanish conversation for adults meets every second Wednesday of the month starting October 11, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Almonte Branch.
French conversation for adults starts in November. Stay tuned for details.
Teen Meet
The Teen Advisory Group starts October 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Almonte Branch.
Help promote the library’s space and collections, write book reviews and brainstorm ideas for future programs and events.
Club Francophone
This club meets once a month. Inquire at the library or via our website about it.
Travelogue
The first Travelogue – Armchair Travel at the Library – is Tuesday, October 17, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Almonte Branch. Rick Scholes will speak about Vietnam and Cambodia.

Digitization Lab
At the Digitization Lab at the Pakenham Branch, you can:

Convert VHS to DVD, DVD to USB or cassette tape to MP3

Scan photos slides and film negatives and save to .jpgs and other digital formats

Edit videos and images
-
Record audio and video clips
The digitization lab is available anytime the Pakenham Branch is open.
