Flood Warning Statement - Termination
Water levels and flows declining across the watershed
April 26, 2023 MISSISSIPPI AND CARP RIVER WATERSHEDS — The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority is TERMINATING the FLOOD WARNING for Dalhousie Lake and Clyde River. Levels and flows are declining and based on the current weather forecasts, that trend is expected to continue.
Levels still remain high on Dalhousie and Mississippi Lakes but are declining. It will be at least another 5 to 7 days before levels return to seasonal conditions. Flows in the Mississippi River are also high but are gradually declining .
Parents are encouraged to remind their children about hypothermia and the dangers of playing near fast flowing water.
No further updates to this FLOOD WARNING will be issued.
