In Memory of Ross Comerford

FROM THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR: 

It is with sadness that I share the passing of Retired Firefighter Ross Comerford. He passed peacefully this morning surrounded by his family. Ross served with the Almonte, Almonte & Ramsay and Mississippi Mills Fire Departments from 1973 to 2003. 

Ross was a proud and dedicated member of our Fire Department for 30 years and provided exemplary service to our community. He will be deeply missed by his Fire Department Family. 

To honour Ross as a retired member of our Fire Department, all flags at municipal buildings have been lowered. Please keep Ross’s children, Jennifer and Mitch, and the Comerford family in your thoughts and prayers during this solemn time.
