Read Something Different – Get suggestions! So many ways to find recommendations at the library. Visit the website (www.missmillslibrary.com), ask a librarian or browse the displays.

Learn Something New – Attend a Learning in Almonte course, watch Kanopy documentaries and MMPL YouTube videos, borrow a ukelele, browse the non-fiction and magazine sections.

Master Technology – Book a Tech Tutor appointment or 3D printing class, borrow DIY books.

Cook Something Different – Borrow a cook book, check Kanopy Cooking Fundamentals series online.

Try a Book Club – Gather a group of friends and borrow a Book Club kit, join the MMPL Open Book Club group from the library’s Facebook page.

Learn Another Language – Join French and Spanish conversation groups, stream foreign language movies in Kanopy at home, borrow a language kit.

Have a Winter Date Night – Attend an evening Author Talk, Travelogue or concert at your branch – or just sit quietly together and read at the library!

Date with the Kids – Attend Baby Time or Story Time, take out an Ozobot, MAPsack, Grab & Play game or READy to Go pack! Learn to 3D print together. Visit your other library branch!

Start a Garden – Pick up seeds at the Seed Library, borrow a gardening book, attend a gardening lecture.

Capture Memories – Transfer your old media records to new digital files at the Pakenham Memory Lab, get help from the Tech Tutor.
