Movies in the Park is back!

Movies in the park will be happening all throughout August in various parks around Mississippi Mills. Bring the family or just yourself and enjoy a movie among the community under the stars.

August 4th “Space Jam: a New Legacy” will be playing at Riverfront park. This 2021 live/animated film starring Lebron James is a fun, comedy, family film. The journey begins when the Looney Tunes characters face a problem when Lebron James and his son, Dom, get stuck in digital space and they have to make it home safely and back on the basketball court.

August 11th in Clayton you will be able to see “Rons Gone Wrong”. Starring Barney the socially awkward school boy and his best friend Ron… who is a robot. Barney is so excited to have his own robot until it hilariously starts to malfunction. Ron’s malfunctions unfortunately draws attention to a shady executive who wants to protect his company's stock price at all costs.

August 18th in Pakenham the movie “The Bad Guys” will be playing. Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula are faced with doing some time for breaking the law. To avoid their prison sentence they must have to pull off one of their biggest schemes yet– becoming model citizens. The infamous gang sets out to fool the world that they aren't so bad after all.

August 25th “Encanto” will be playing in Don Maynard Park. This musical family movie will have you on the edge of your seat! The Madrigals are a unique family who live in Encanto, Colombia. Each member of this family has been blessed by the magic the Encanto brings with the exception of one child, Mirabel. However, Mirabel's call to action comes when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is now in danger.
