Interested in helping people who are new to Canada learn English but aren’t sure where to start? This session is for you!
Join others at the Mississippi Mills Public Library (Almonte Branch) for a HOW TO TEACH ESL WORKSHOP. This workshop guides you through best practices, tips, and strategies on how to effectively teach English as a Second Language (ESL).

The instructor is a teacher, coach and consultant with over 10 years of experience helping people of all ages and all levels learn English.
Join the Knitting & Crochet Group, learn some new techniques, share what you know. No registration necessary, just drop-in Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, at Almonte branch. Everyone welcome. Irina Shevchenko offers lessons in the Continental style to those interested. Needles and yarn are supplied or bring your favourites.

- Nicki Gallo, MA – Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Play Therapist, specializing in child and family therapy
- Patrick O’Halloran, MSW – Registered Social Worker and therapist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, depression, anxiety and addictions
- Renee Colley, ECE is a CNAC Forest and Nature School Practitioner and owner of Wild Child Nature project
