Notice of the Passing of By-laws – 2023 Development Charges
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills passed municipal-wide Development Charges By-laws, 23-081, 23-082, 23-083, 23-084, 23-085, 23-086, 23-087 and 23-088 on the 5th day of December, 2023 under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended;
AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under section 14 of the Act, in respect of the Development Charges by-law, by filing with the Clerk of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills on or before the 15th day of January, 2024 a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection.
The schedule of development charges imposed by the by-law, which comes into effect on January 1, 2024, is as follows:

By-law No. 23-082 – Development Charges for Fire Protection Services
By-law No. 23-083 – Development Charges for Parks and Recreation Services
By-law No. 23-084 – Development Charges for Library Services
By-law No. 23-085 – Development Charges for Childcare Services
By-law No. 23-086- Development Charges for Septage Services
By-law No. 23-087 – Development Charges for Wastewater Services
By-law No. 23-088 – Development Charges for Water Services
