OPP Seek Assistance After Theft of Pride Flags in Blakeney

Press Release - Lanark County Crime Stoppers

Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking assistance from the public to help identify the person(s) responsible for a theft which occurred sometime between June 3 and June 4, 2023.

Unknown suspects forcibly removed four Pride flags from a private residence fence line on Blakeney Road.

If you have any information on this or any other crime, please call Lanark County Crime Stoppers (LCCS) anonymously at the toll-free number, 1-800-222-TIPS (1-800-222-8477). All calls to LCCS are confidential and phone calls are not taped.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property and the seizure of illicit drugs or substances. Callers are not required to reveal their identity and they do not have to testify in court. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display/caller ID.
