Red Shirt Day for AccessAbility is Wednesday, May 29, 2024
Wednesday, May 29, 2024, marks Red Shirt Day for AccessAbility.
As Mississippi Mills continues to recognize National AccessAbility Week, the municipality would like to encourage individuals to get engaged with this week’s featured content. One way that individuals can get engaged is by wearing red on Red Shirt Day.
Individuals can show their support and join others across Canada in creating a visible display of solidarity for Canadians living with disabilities, and the importance of creating a fully accessible and inclusive society that honors and values the contributions of people of all abilities in all aspects of life in Canada.
Red Shirt Day is an initiative of Easter Seals and was first celebrated in 2019.
