Restricted Fire Zone Lifted, Municipal Ban Lowered to Level 4

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has lifted the fire ban status in the Restricted Fire Zone.

Mississippi Mills burn status is now at a Level 4, Extreme Risk, supervised campfires only. Brush fires are NOT permitted at this time. Please be advised that any unauthorized burning can result in fines.
 
The Mississippi Mills Fire Department reminds all residents that they must have an activated burn permit before burning. Residents in eligible areas must obtain a free permit online at mm.burnpermits.com or at the Municipal Office during business hours.
