StreetScan Technology Arrives in Mississippi Mills

Residents will soon see some new technology travelling Mississippi Mills roads!

The Municipality has partnered with StreetScan, a reputable Montreal-based company that has developed innovative vehicle-mounted sensing technology that enables us to assess the condition of our roads during normal traffic flow. This cutting-edge technology allows us to not only evaluate the overall health of each street but also pinpoint specific road defects such as potholes, bumps, and cracks. By harnessing this data, we can better identify areas in need of repair and prioritize maintenance efforts, all with the goal of ensuring our streets are kept in optimal condition.
