Join the Mississippi Mills Public Library for a free community panel discussion inspired by Jonathan Haidt’s book, ‘The Anxious Generation,' - The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness

This event is sponsored by The Hub, in collaboration with Trellis Health, Mill Street Books and the Mississippi Mills Public Library.

'The Anxious Generation' is a thought-provoking book that explores the rise of anxiety and mental health struggles among today’s youth. Haidt examines the impact of technology, social media, and modern parenting on child and adolescent well-being, offering insights into how we can foster resilience and emotional health in young people.

Hear from a panel of local experts:

  • Nicki Gallo, MA – Registered Psychotherapist and Certified Play Therapist, specializing in child and family therapy
  • Patrick O’Halloran, MSW – Registered Social Worker and therapist with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate trauma, depression, anxiety and addictions
  • Renee Colley, ECE is a CNAC Forest and Nature School Practitioner and owner of Wild Child Nature project
