In the rural areas Property Identification Signs (blue signs with white numbers) are used by emergency services to identify your property in the event of an emergency. Over time these signs can become covered by branches, shrubs, or trees, making them difficult to spot - especially by someone in a hurry.   

It's important to trim back any vegetation to ensure your property identification number is clear and visible so that if you ever need police, fire or ambulance, they will be able to find you.
