Committees and Boards

Statutory Committees and Boards are required by provincial law. Their primary purpose is to ensure that the municipality follows specific laws and provide guidance on topics such as land use planning and enhancing the accessibility of public spaces. These committees help support good decision-making and ensure the municipality is open and accountable.

Who Can Attend Statutory Committee and Board Meetings?

Anyone is able to attend an advisory meeting. All meeting agendas, dates and times will be posted on the meeting calendar at least four days before each meeting. Please note that audience participation is not allowed unless you have been approved by the Clerk's department or by the committee as a delegation.  Please visit our Speaking to Council page if you would like more information.

If you’re unable to attend an advisory meeting, don’t worry, all videos and meeting minutes will be posted on our website under meeting calendar.

Statutory Committees and Boards with Terms of Reference

*Membership to the working groups are determined by the appropriate Statutory Committee. If you would like to apply to be on any of the working groups, please visit out Join a Committee webpage to complete and submit an application form.
