Eastern Ontario Business Journal (EOBJ) is once again celebrating regional businesses that are on the fast track to growth with its third annual Fastest Growing Companies competition.

The competition is a unique opportunity for enterprises to be recognized for substantial, sustainable and profitable growth.

EOBJ is seeking companies headquartered in Eastern Ontario (in the counties of Renfrew; Frontenac; Leeds & Grenville; Lanark; Prescott & Russell; Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry) that have demonstrated substantial revenue growth over the past three years. It doesn’t matter what industry the company is in or whether it’s a startup or a long-standing business.

Reminder! Companies headquartered in the City of Ottawa are not eligible.

Reasons to apply:

• Visibility: Share your story with EOBJ readers

• Publicity: Be profiled in the EOBJ fall newsmagazine

• Recognition: Be showcased among the region’s leading businesses at a special event

Applicants will be ranked by percentage revenue growth between year one and year three of their most recent three-year fiscal period (for example, fiscal 2021 to fiscal 2023). To qualify, the company must have completed three fiscal years with financial statements that have been subject to a review engagement or formal audit.

In year one, companies must have had revenues of at least $50,000. In year three, revenues must have risen to at least $250,000. If the company is not profitable by the third year, applicants will be asked to briefly explain how the firm will be sustainable.

Top companies will be profiled in the fall issue of EOBJ.
