March Break for Kids at Mississippi Mills Public Library – March 9-17

Lots of fun and inspiration planned at the Mississippi Mills Public Library (MMPL) for kids over the March Break!

• All week – Monday, March 11 – Friday, March 15: DROP-IN Maker Space at both branches. Find all the supplies you need to get creative as well as craft ideas! Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

• Monday, March 11 – Children’s Movie Afternoon at 1 p.m. – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. This event is a DROP-IN, Almonte branch. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

• Wednesday, March 13 – LEGO robotics workshop, Almonte branch, 11a.m. – 2 p.m. Registration is full, but sign up for the waiting list -  https://form.jotform.com/240325273182248.

• Thursday, March 14 – Stuffies Sleepover, Almonte branch, from 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. Kids wear your pajamas and bring a stuffie for some night-time themed stories, songs, and a craft. Leave your stuffie to sleepover at the library! What shenanigans will they get up to! Pick stuffies up Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Registration required - https://www.jotform.com/form/240515741860252.

• Friday, March 15 – Baby time, 10 a.m., Almonte branch. Registration required - https://form.jotform.com/240097995232059.

• Friday, March 15 – Story time, 11 a.m. (bring your siblings!), Almonte branch. DROP-IN.

• Saturday, March 16 – LEGO robotics workshop, Almonte branch, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Currently full, but sign up for waiting list -  https://form.jotform.com/240325273182248.

• Sunday, March 17 – Family Trivia Contest at 2 p.m., Almonte branch. Organized by the Friends of MMPL – more info to come soon.
