Mississippi Mills Business Breakfast – May 15, 2024
Join us for our next Mississippi Mills Business Breakfast set for Wednesday, May 15 in a new location – the Mississippi Golf Club!
The breakfast takes place from 7-9 a.m. The coffee starts flowing at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Special thanks to Canadian Career Academy for sponsoring this month’s event!
This month, our agenda is full of great information about programs to support your business needs.
Linda Alexander, Recruitment & Settlement Coordinator for Lanark County, will join us to talk about The Rural Community Inclusion Pilot Project. This collaborative initiative’s mission involves connecting local businesses with skilled newcomers, creating a more inclusive, diverse and economically vibrant community.
We will also hear from Adela Polacek, Educating and Training Advisor for Contact North. Contact North is a free, local bilingual service to help residents in rural and remote Ontario communities access online programs and courses from colleges, universities and training providers without having to leave their communities.
Canadian Career Academy President Rob Probert will be on hand to provide an update on accessing their programs that support employers with everything from recruitment to employee training.
These breakfast events are open to everyone, fostering inclusivity and collaboration. They provide a chance to connect, inquire and stay updated on the Mississippi Mills business community. Feel free to pass on the invitation and encourage a friend or colleague to join you.
Please remember to RSVP for the breakfast! You can do so by emailing dmcdonald@mississippimills.ca.
