New Municipal Phone System Launches February 18

On Tuesday, February 18, the Municipality of Mississippi Mills will be introducing a new phone system.

After approximately 11:30 a.m. on February 18, when you call the municipal office or our Development Services and Engineering and Recreation and Culture departments at Almonte Old Town Hall, there will be a change in menu options.

Listen carefully to the new menu options. This new system includes voice recognition so you can reach the person or department you need simply by saying their name or following the prompts. At any time, you can press zero to be directed to customer service where a real person will be happy to help direct your call.

This new system will make it easier for residents to access the information they need or department they wish to reach quicker.

This change does NOT affect the phone numbers for the following:

• John Levi Community Centre
• Stewart Community Centre
• Almonte and Pakenham branches of the Mississippi Mills Public Library
• Mississippi Mills Childcare Services
