Public Notice – Reduced Load Weights on All Municipal Roads (1)
Take notice that reduced load restrictions - five (5) tonnes per axle - will be in force on all municipal roads effective Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
The reduced load period is necessary for the protection of all municipal roads which are susceptible to damage during the spring thaw.
The restriction will be removed when the likelihood of road damage has diminished.
This activation is also in effect for Lanark County and the surrounding municipalities: Tay Valley, Drummond North Elmsley, Lanark Highlands, Beckwith, and Montague.
