Construction Project Update - July 26, 2021
Micro-Surfacing - Gale Street and Clayton Road
Gale Street and Clayton Road are scheduled for micro-surfacing is between August 3rd and August 20th, 2021 (exact date to be announced).
Expect minor delays during construction.
Mississippi Mills Business Park – Phase 3
Construction for the proposed watermain along Ottawa Street and Appleton Side Road is proposed to begin July 26, 2021, with proposed lane closures eastbound along Ottawa Street and southbound along Appleton Side Road. The entrance to the Ultramar (5525 Appleton Side Road) will be temporarily closed to support the construction efforts. Appropriate signs and detour routes will be identified along the roadways for the duration of the lane closures.
Pakenham Concession 12 North
Re-grading of Pakenham Concession 12 N, Barr Side Road and the OVRT is expected to begin on July 26, 2021, with double surface treatment and project completion expected by August 12, 2021. Expect minor delays during construction.
Levi Bridge Replacement (Pakenham Concession 10)
The former Levi Bridge has been removed, and the concrete footings for the new bridge are currently being constructed on the north and south sides of the Waba Creek. Pakenham Concession 10 will remain closed at Waba Creek until October 30, 2021, and is currently open to local traffic only. Appropriate signs and detour routes will be identified along the roadways for the duration of the lane closures.
