Special Weather Statement May Impact Pakenham Parade
Tonight’s Light Up The Night kicks of a series of festive activities planned for Mississippi Mills this weekend.
Tomorrow is the Pakenham Santa Claus Parade scheduled for a 1:00 PM start. We are aware of a Special Weather Statement that’s calling for high winds – while we aren’t anticipating having to cancel the parade, please be advised that this is a possibility – everyone’s safety is our top priority.
An official call will be made by 10am tomorrow (Saturday, December 3rd) and posted on our Facebook page and on our website.
It’s recommended that all decorations on floats are secured.
