Surveying Work on Union Street in Almonte

Public Works is working with  Parsons Engineering to complete design work on Union Street North between Main Street and Carss Street. This includes taking measurements and testing the soils in and around Union Street North. This work is expected to be completed by the end of November. The purpose is to rehabilitate and upgrade the water and wastewater services  under the road. The project is still in the preliminary discovery and design phase and construction is not expected to begin until at least 2025.
