UPDATE: Planned Power Outages for Mississippi Mills – Sunday, September 29
Please be advised there are several planned power outages by Hydro One that will affect Mississippi Mills residents this Sunday, September 29.
Hydro One’s planned outage from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. to update will affect a large area of Mississippi Mills, including Ottawa River Power Corporation’s customers in Almonte (see map below).

Customers impacted have received automated message notifications regarding the outages from Hydro One and ORPC.

MUNICIPAL FACILITIES
Due to this outage, programming at the John Levi Community Centre in Almonte has been cancelled for this period. The arena will be closed and staff will be on hand to monitor the situation.
Evening bookings will resume as scheduled.
The Stewart Community Centre in Pakenham will not be affected, according to Hydro One.
Almonte Old Town Hall will also be closed to the public during the outage. The Tourism Desk will reopen from 1 to 5 p.m.
The Standing Room Only Tea Dance scheduled for September 29 at Almonte Old Town Hall will now begin at 2 p.m. and run until 4:30 p.m.
