Press Release – Lanark County. Due to unforeseen weather-related challenges, Lanark County Public Works has revised the timeline for the reopening of Blakeney Bridge in Mississippi Mills.

The Municipality began the design phase for the County Road 29 Watermain Project as of August 14, 2024. The project will consist of the installation of a watermain along County Road 29 to supply water to the northwest portion of Almonte and improve water pressure and service to the Cameron neighbourhood.
