At the May 17th Mississippi Mills Council Meeting, June 2022 was proclaimed as PRIDE month in Mississippi Mills. The municipality is proud to celebrate June as Pride month!

Our Municipal Emergency Control Group met on Friday May 27, 2022, to discuss operational impacts of the windstorm. Municipal operations are returning to normal.

May 25, 2022. As a result of the severe windstorm this weekend, much of the municipality remains without power and will be facing significant clean up due to fallen trees and branches.

Due to the power outages and storm cleanup in the area, the Committee of Adjustment meeting scheduled for tomorrow, May 25, 2022 at 6pm, will now be cancelled. .

Office Closed:. Due to the ongoing power outage the main Municipal Office at 3131 Old Perth Road will be closed Tuesday May 24, 2022.

Council will be holding an emergency meeting at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 23, 2022 to discuss matters relating to the sever storm that passed through the municipality over the weekend. .

The Mississippi Mills Building and Planning Departments will be moving to Almonte Old Town Hall, located at 14 Bridge st. , the week of May 24. th.
