Two tireless volunteers were saluted for their contributions to the quality of life in Mississippi Mills during the Municipality’s third annual Community Awards ceremony. Family, friends and members of Council gathered at Almonte Old Town Hall on Thursday, May 30 to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Exceptional Volunteer Award honourees,.

The Beautification Department within the Municipality of Mississippi Mills has been busy with beautification efforts this spring to ensure plantings in the Municipality look their best. We’d like to thank Ramsay Creek, who has been working in partnership with the Municipality, and to recognize their work in helping beautify our community, including planting beds , including the area around the Almonte gateway sign and the beautiful hanging baskets, which were installed this week.
